    学术成就

    在手写字符识别一化、特征提取、分设计手写字符串的切分与识别等方面提出一系列有效的方法;研制的文字识别算法在日本的机、表格成功的用,尤其是用于的日文手写地址识别该领第一个成功的。近年来在联机和脱机自由书写文字与文档识别及检索、场景图像和视频中的文本定位与识别、基于图的机器学习、基于判别学习的分类器设计与自适应、视频目标检测跟踪与行为分析等方面开展了深入研究。研制的技术在移动设备文字输入、金融票据处理、网络图片文字识别、视频文字识别等领域获得了成功应用。
